1997 528i ABS lights
 

Thank you again for the recommendation to purchase the 528i. I did get the manual and I do not regret it. I ended up going through the storm that hit Washington on the 18th of December. While 4x4's and heavy duty trucks were stalled and on the side of the highway, the 528i went right by all of them. It loves the highways and that is what we want it for.
Unfortunately on our way down the ABS light started to flicker but it would disappear. It stayed off for couple of months and then it suddenly appeared when I was backing up. There was no ice. When the ABS lights are on the speedometer is not working. I read on the forum that I should try disconnecting the battery and doing couple of things with the breaks. I will try those things. Any other recommendations? Many thanks again.
