Angry Having an AC problem

, I have an 04 525i E60, I am having a problem with the ac unit. When I turn it on nothing happens, the lights come on, but no air. When I turn on the front window defrost it blows out great but when I switch for the air to come out from the dash nothing happens. Another BMW forum told me it was the ac resistor and that it was located behind the ac control panel. So I ordered the part and proceeded to change it out, the only problem is that when I took apart my dash there was nothing there. So if anyone has any ideas on what is causing this problem please let me know....Thank you Peter
