I agree Nick! I'm not buying another vehicle unless it's a newer BMW. Definitely something BMW though. Mine probably be an E46 M3 if not newer! Then my E36 would be up for total restore! Don't think I'd ever want to sell it though!

I'm sold on BMW. I've only had mine 3 weeks and already I understand that it is 10 times better than anything else I've ever driven. I doubt if I'll ever buy anything other than a BMW.

they are just great. i always liked em but once i owned mine i was also obsessed, or a bmw geek or however it was put. and no, most people dont understand it. and no, it doesnt matter. i dont care if something is newer, faster, more expensive, whatever... theres somethin about the bmw that is head and shoulders above the other makes. so, NO johhny you're not alone. you said you bought yours for $9,500 and put another %3,500 in? i paid only $7,500 for mine 3 years ago (guy didnt know what he had) and have since put $4-5k into it and like dinan540 said "well worth every dollar"

Man! 215BIMMER, you nail it every time! This is exactly how I feel! So I guess I'm not insane! Yesterday when I was installing my new wheels, a neighbor of mine made a comment: He said, So! johnny! what are you going to buy next for your precious car! I responded, hummm, let me see! maybe a $ 4.500 dollar Supercharger! He said that I was nuts! Although I've contemplated this insane thought, I don't forsee this happening anytime soon! So I ended my conversation with telling him I Love my>bimmer.gif

Yesterday I got a late start installing them, about 4:30. Everything was going well until I went to install the rear wheels. You see I had 15mm eibach wheel spacers on the rear with my stock wheels which were 16" w/ 205/50's! Well now I'm putting on 17" w/225/45's. I don't have to tell you, rub a dub dubby!
I had a bitch of a time getting the spacers off the hub, even after I had the bolts off! The spacer was stuck to the hub, an hour later I got them off & the wheels were on,but it was too dark to take any pictures! I am going out right now to wash my car & take some pics!!!!!
