Last Speeding Ticket!
Mine was in August of 2005. Got popped in Northern Arizona driving my previous car, a 2005 Saturn Ion Redline (very modded and fast). I got hit with a 70 in a 55. SPEED TRAP ENFORCEMENT ZONE. whoops.
Anyways, That was my last ticket and it is off my insurance this August.

My 1st offense that sticks, was last summer in detroit (a place where speeding is rarely enforced) I got caught 50 in a 35, the cop wrote me for 5 over, 2 points, somehow my insurance hasn't caught on yet.
The last time I got pulled over was in my mazda in august, 90 in a 70, by the time the cop got to the car i had my documents in hand out the window waiting for him, he asked where i was going, if i had a reason for going so fast (no i said) and if I was aware I was going that fast (yes i knew very well I was going 90 when i saw you), he let me off, it was a good day.

It's really hard not to speed around here. The average speed is 75+ MPH on a 65 MPH limit freeway. It's not unusual for people go 80+. It's dangerous not to speed around here.

Last year in my Altima, believe it or not 38 in a 25! Cops never showed in court I beat it!! Check this out in New Jersey for this Month:
Starting today, New Jersey will launch a 30 day speeding ticket frenzy.
The state estimates that 9 million dollars will be generated in speeding tickets. 1 million will go to pay state troopers' overtime. There will be 50 state troopers on duty at all times patrolling the 9 main intersections and highways. They are the following:
I-295 north and south
1-95 (Jersey Turnpike) north and south
1-80 east and west
I-287 north and south
I-78 east and west
1-195 east and west
1-280 east and west
Rt. 130 north and south
Garden State Parkway north and south
5 mph above the limit can justify a ticket and every state trooper is supposed to pull a car over and write a ticket every 10 to 20 minutes.
They have issued 30 brand new unmarked Crown Victoria cruisers and are bringing in all of their part timers on full time. If you work in NJ, NY, DE or CT you will probably take one of these highways. It's up to you how fast you are going when they clock you.
101.5 FM confirmed all of this. So be safe and don't forget speeding tickets are on you.
Driving Ticket fine increase in NJ:
Starting on August 15th, the price of a ticket for violation of NJ Law 39:3-29 (failure to show your driver's license, registration, or insurance card at the time you are stopped) is going from $44.00 to $173.00. Please make sure your vehicles have the proper documents in them. If you jump in the car to run to the store and forget your wallet with your license in it and you are stopped.... Oh well... you just spent $173. And the fine for not having all three documents i s $519!!!
Forward to people in NJ, and let them know of this change. And be careful, the fine for hand held cell phone use while driving will be going up to $180.00.
I'm currently waiting for my polaroid shot from the German Polizei when I was on A6 headed to Heilbronn in January. Didn't notice the 120kph sign as I was creeping past 160kph and then I saw two funny boxes on the side of the road. The only reaction I could do was let go of the gas and tap the brake once................oh yeah and .
All I know is that it's a 30 day suspension and a fine for going 30-40kph over the limit.

Little over a year ago in CT, doing 80 in a supposed 55 zone (since raised to 65), while most of the traffic was doing 70-75 anyway. Nonetheless they write you up for the amount you were going over 55, a Catch-22 or Kafka-esque situation if ever there was one. Of course, the cops completely ignore the SUVs making sudden and unsignaled lane changes, cutting in on other traffic, and the tailgaters riding your rear bumper, behaviors that are responsible for more crashes than alleged speeding. It's the "cash register justice" game they're playing, it's a lot easier for them to sit by the roadside with radar or laser in hand so they can write speeding tickets and show the revenues brought in than it is to go after the aforementioned types.
In my estimation traffic law enforcement is poorly done, and made even more so when it becomes a profit center rather than a public safety matter.
