Johnny, the track is open on Saturday and Sunday to the public. You should go. I am.
Das ist good! Amanda, are you going soon! Are you going to drive the track. I here there are many different cars you can rent. Fuel is about 9 $bucks$ a gallon. You can also go by way of the BMW Ring Taxi for $250.00 a lap, this video is awesome!!!http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KzXeOxVtLbU.

The most technical track in the world. American car companies are starting to test cars there now. This past summer, the puget sound BMW CCA chapter went to the ring for a week. One day there was a motorcycle fatality. Apparently, fatalities are quite common on the track when you have average people with cars they can't possible handle on that track. It is 14 miles long, tons of curves, elevation changes, off camber. Way difficult to drive fast. I would love to go and take some laps.
yeah, there are tons of crashes and even casualties...
I'd love to go there. Problem is: I've never been on a track before.
And there aren't really many small tracks in Germany, unlike in the US.
Dunno, you can only get the experience from the Autobahn

+1 they really do most of the crashes b/c they overestimate their abilities
decades ago my dad would go there every weekend with his motorcycle and his biker buddies to race around the track... until he crashed really bad and barely survived
