Coolest Track ever, that is all. Part way through viewing it is very evident that this isn't a guy who has been at the track a lot. I plan to be there this Summer since F1 will be running at Hockenheimring this year(definetly not missing that one).

The most technical track in the world. American car companies are starting to test cars there now. This past summer, the puget sound BMW CCA chapter went to the ring for a week. One day there was a motorcycle fatality. Apparently, fatalities are quite common on the track when you have average people with cars they can't possible handle on that track. It is 14 miles long, tons of curves, elevation changes, off camber. Way difficult to drive fast. I would love to go and take some laps.

yeah, there are tons of crashes and even casualties... I'd love to go there. Problem is: I've never been on a track before. And there aren't really many small tracks in Germany, unlike in the US. Dunno, you can only get the experience from the Autobahn  Quote:

decades ago my dad would go there every weekend with his motorcycle and his biker buddies to race around the track... until he crashed really bad and barely survived |
