What BMW car should I buy?
I'm an international student and my parents are planning to buy a car for me. What would be the best car for a college student like me? And I was planning of getting a BMW so what BMW car would be the best for me, or should I consider some other car brand? Thanks!

you wanna go fast, or just have the BMw look?
gas mileage?
I would say a clean E36 M3 or a E46 330 would be sweet.
maybe a 530 or 540? they are more spacious.

You gotta have a budget. From there you can determine what models are best. Let us know the ranges, and we can determine the best options for you to choose. I'm in the same boat you are, but need to determine when I have the funds to back up the choices I want.
I would say a good college car...e36 328i or if you have enough, e36 M3.

Lets see, mummy and pop will buy you a car, hmmm. Hows about a 5.0-liter, V-10 engine pumping out 500 horsepower and still gets 17mpg on the highway? Got a 7 speed tranny and some radar thingy so you dont bump into a tricycle when you back out. Looks something like a batmobile in black and has a spare seat next to you to place your anatomy books on. This might even get a complete dork laid! If the 100k price tag scares em off, go for an E-36!!!! You can do all your mech work yourself and save some cash, and it will still have a dipstick. Hell, you might be able to pay for it on your own and not be looked down upon by your peers as the rich kid whos parents bought him a bmw

Hmmm, whats it look like in alpine white? * droooools
