E30 Vs E36
i miss my E30 so mush , some times i think about it so much ? i really loved that car so mush it carry a lot of memories to me some of them was bad but most of them are beautiful , she had classic body mixed with modern body kit ,from interior its an old style with new electric modifications, i suppose the E30 is standing on the edge of new and past days ,
i would ask u people what is the thing is really make E36 better than E30 ? http://www.c5c6.com/show.php?month=1...e=amo922ia.bmp http://www.c5c6.com/show.php?month=1...e=sk23jla6.bmp http://www.c5c6.com/show.php?month=1...e=1cw6cgob.bmp |
Not a whole lot in my opinion. They're both very good cars.

e30>e36

I like E30's that are in good shape much better then E36's as far as looks go...I've never driven an E30 and the only E36 I've driven was a 318ti...yuck.

i think it all depends on the condition of the car.
an E30 has most of the neccesary amenities of new cars. Which is what makes it still a great car. Its just old now, so an unkept E30 is not very different from an E46 if you think about it. Even the suspension has the same exact setup, just the E46 has beefier components due to the increase in weight. Same with the E36. |
I've driven some E36's and even though they have a really good power band and feel, I don't think I could change from the E30. To me it's mostly how you feel with a car and what you want to get out of it.

I have only driven a couple e36s and nothing as hard as I drive my own car, but I have been in some that are serious track toys and they can go go go. The e30 is lightweight at least compared to the e36, It is nimble, very well constructed, and a blast to drive. I think the e30 is better looking and just all out awesome.

my two cents:
The E36 is a fine car, but has serious limitations when compared to the E30. The E30 was put through extensive road tests during construction, where the E36 was, as i understand, almost exclusively tested using computer models. This made the E30 an all-around more solid car. Not to say that the E36 was poorly constructed, but still - E30 > E36. Again, there are some very nice E36s and some very poor E30s, but overall the E30 wins IMO. Kasei - didn't the E36 318ti use the E30 suspension? I thought it might've used some other E30 components as well, but I can't recall at the moment. |
the 318ti shared a lot with the e30 and part of the reason why some owners really love them.

I donno but there's something I like so much more about the way the e30 looks. The e30 doesn't quite look like every other car out on the road. And +1 to the whole it's lighter, easier to work on, more dependable, and just flat out more enjoyable.

I'd take an E30 over an E36 anyday. Well, except the day that I bought my car.

to me i dont think any car could make me happier than my e30. it's a damn beautiful car all around and nothing beats it's speed and power for the size and year if your pickin up what i'm puttin down... e30s to me are the perfect car. everyones different i guess though right?
|
My problem with the 318ti was that it felt like a tank to me, I mean I wasn't on a good curvey road so I didn't get a very good impression of it's handling but it just seemed to be boged down for some reason. Lol it might just be it was a piece of crap...I did break two things getting into it haha.
