SIM Card in a 730i 12/95

Not being a mobile phone user I have just acquired a 730i with a motorola phone installed.

Where do I obtain my SIM from? any phonecard supplier? and are they a certain type for such an old mobile phone?

Thanks

Paul

I thought the phones were only for a BMW based network?

This wouldnt work in america if the car was older then 01 because the signal to the phone would have to be analog.

Does the car's manual describe the type of network the phone uses? AFAIK CDMA is the most common and TDMA is mostly phased out. GSM exists here in the US, but only on at&t.
