e36- Crankcase Vent Valve location???

Its the hose that runs from the front of your valve cover to under the intake manafold They are pain to replace. http://www.realoem.com/bmw/showparts...87&hg=11&fg=15 Also if your valve cover gasket it leaking its reccomended that it be replaced at the same time.

Thanks! Antiburn, for the info & the RealOEM website. Yeah, I'm just getting ready to replace the valve cover gasket & plugs. About a month ago I started to smell burning oil through my heating vents. I popped the hood and found the leak @ the bottom center of the valve cover leaking onto the exhaust!!! So I figured maybe I should replace the crankcase vent valve too! I purchased the valve cover gasket, nut seals, & plugs from Autohaus for about $60.00. I don't have the crankcase vent valve yet, but there selling it for about $80.00 bucks I guess that's the going rate!!! Thanks again Antiburn, johnnybayonne, |
