Bosch Platinum 4 vs. NGK Platinum Spark Plugs??? - United Bimmer Community

I know this has been dicussed many times, I'ved owned my car for about a year now, & I am getting ready to replace my spark plugs for the 1st time on my 97 328i. Which ones do I go with! I heard the Bosch Platinum 4 burn too hot!!!! Any suggestions???

NONE, you think those "platinum" will make you go faster or are better for the engine?

just get the oem bosch or NGK equivalent and save your self the cash.

just my 2 cents.

P.S> autohausaz (online vendor) has the BOSCH OEM 4.50 each.

go with whatever bmw recommends. buying anything that is more expensive is just wasting money and might even die faster.

Agreed. I put the Platinum +4s in my e30 325is and saw no improvement. I am going with factory recommendations in my 7.
