Why You Should Buy a Bimmer!!!

My first car was a 1972 Chevelle SS, that I totally restored from the ground up!! It had a 350 small block engine & rear posi traction. The engine was mounted the way a performance car's engine should be mounted. Straight forward. Not transverse or front wheel drive, this made my vehicle so much easier to work on!!! Example: yesterday I replaced the water pump, thermostat, thermostat housing, upper & lower radiator hoses, on my 1997 328i, which is set up just like my first car, the 72 Chevelle. This job with the help of http://www.bimmerdiy.com/e36. I had the job done in 2 hours, with parts running me about $ 100.00 from http://www.bimmerzone.com/BMW_Parts.htm & free shipping!!! Try doing this with a Honda, on most transverse or front wheel drive cars you can't even get to the waterpump in 2 hours you have to partially lift the engine out!!! Even a simple job, like replacing the belts is a nightmare!! Look
I'm 44 years old & I' ve owned a lot of different makes & models from crappy American made cars to the Japanese models. The reason why they call the Bimmer, The Ultimate Driving Machine, because it simply is!!! My 1997 328i is the best car I've ever owned period.......:http://www.bimmerwerkz.com/forum/gallery824.html

Now this is great stuff: usually everyone is bitching about their car problems. Here's an actual post about how someone loves their car :)

Johnny, we should meet sometime. I'm 41 and live in Jersey City.

^^ +1. Imagine working on the e30 which is even simpler. I can see the ground when I open my hood.

You should buy a Bimmer because it will save your life when you decide to flip it 1 1/2 times into the woods one night. Nice post Johnny.

They are awesome cars I love my e30 and almost regret taking it out of daily driver duty, Time for some more track mods!

johnnybayonne 11-15-2007 10:30 PM

I would not want to flip it at all, but if it was gonna happen, I would not want to be in anything else!!!!! Thanks! Kasei! Sweet e30 nick 318is, Red & Black are my favorite colors!!! I'm looking to buy an 90 or 91 e30 as a second car!!!

Nice. I also hate when people post bitching about problems about their car. Every car has problems no matter if its a bimmer or not, no car is perfect. Sometimes people should just park thier car and just look at it, if they don't think to themselves "wow my car is a amazng" then its time for them to sell it.

Nice post mate... Bimmers Rock!!

Heres another good reason to own a bimmer, what a 2 ton pickup can do to your car and I walked away without a scratch.
