BMW General Discussion

Talk about BMWs in general. Post official news, Bangle flames, or anything else related to BMW.
1- You can handle a car with 500 HP? Right. What have you driven that was even close to that?
2- I know you won't listen, but don't spend all your money on a car. If the top of your range is 15K, spend 10. I know you're a guy (and a kid) and cars are the COOLEST THING IN THE WORLD... but it's just a car. It will probably get wrecked and/or ruined by you or your friends, so leave some money for yourself, not just the car. Also, don't lease. Ever. You might as well just throw your money in the street.
3- You can't get a good BMW for less than 15K? Not that I condone 16 year olds getting BMWs (or nice cars in general), but c'mon! FYI, I got mine for $3940.00. Which is considerably less than 15K. Also, my father bought his 2001 530i w/ Sport Package in Anthracite Metallic (not a scratch on it) for 14K. Granted, he can Jew some people down when he wants to.
4- Lastly, I'd recommend a Jeep. Why? You can run off the road, drive ANYWHERE and get into a bunch of mischief with one. I wish my first car was one. Turns out, I got a Saturn. But that's not to say that I didn't off-road in the Saturn.

Thanks guy's I'm not 16, i got my lisence almost 2 years ago, so I'm 18 so its not like i just got my lisence. I am not going to get a Jeep that is way out of the question. What do you mean by jewing people? I'm jewish so i don't really appreciate the word jewing, I know that jews being cheap is the stereo type but I'm not like that. Next time don't say jewing. I would love an E30 but I can't find any good ones, I want a car that has pull to it not one with a lawn mower engine in it.

You want an e30 get on e30tech.com and look at their classifieds you will find good cars in good condition on there, you might have to travel to get one but you will find a good condition e30. Hell check ebay there are usually some decent cars on there as well.
Oh Amanda, Jeeps suck, I had one as my 1st ride and it left me stranded 2 more times then my e30 has ever stranded any of my family (0 Times) and it did that in less than 5 years of having it from new.

It doesnt matter how old you are. Bottom line is you havent had all THAT much driving experience, much less spent any time in a car with even CLOSE to that much power, much less driven one. Trust us, you CANT handle a car with 500hp.

hey man. Im jewish. Really...its an almost perfect stereo type. My mom lowers the price of everything. anyway whats wrong with being cheap....i pay less for things and get the same product Joe Schmo got for twice the price.
as for handling 500hp....I can barely handle my 330 sometimes...and i have driven 600 miles a week over mountain roads for three years now, plus two years prior of mountain driving for high school. add in alot of city driving on the weekends and freeway driving once i get into town.
500hp is alot.
Look into a clean 328is. pay 8 grand or so, get some wheels, clears and a drop...ur set man.

Definitely go with an E36 M3
But as long as you don't wreck it. Get 5-speed not automatic. The best car for the price. good looking, fast, safe, and you barely need to modify it. you know, get some nicer wheels later on or something...
