You don't need to turbo it they are fast as hell, when I as at the track last weekend there was a guy there who had done at least suspension work on one and GODDAMN was that thing fast as hell, and it could handle.

E60 M5 Turbo?
Hi
I read in either Performance BMW or BMW car about a person who had done a twin turbo conversion on a E60 M5 in The USA it had a big story on the car
The turbos where mounted at the rear where the mufflers where
I think it would be too vicious on the road. Where would you drive it in the states other than the track? I met a guy here with an '04 Vette that had a Twin Turbo setup running 6psi per turbo and wsa dropping 600+ at the wheels. He even said he might get rid of the turbos when he got back to the states because he wouldn't be able to do what he does here, run wide open on the 'Bahn. I would love though to hear an M5 with turbos and a free flowing exhaust at W.O.T.
