If I was in that room with Chris, the first thing I'd do is give him a good smack upside his head for the E60

I don't really feel it, but I'm sure it'll sell well. IMO, if you want a car, get a car. If you want a truck, get a truck. Have both at the same time, and you'll miss the best of what either can offer you . . . although, it might be well suited for the moon crater-like roads here in Jersey

dudesky, i agree with you, just like the F18 the X6 is probably meant to be a jack of all trades, but a master of none.

im not too excited for the launch myself, in fact the last few launches of diff platforms have been kind of blah for me. the only thing i was excited about was the release of the E92 M3.

It seems to me that BMW keeps slapping the M and X badges on everything. . .

i would probably but one. mainly because iv always liked the idea of a offroadable car, like the vw concept T.
