Ahhh, what a Bimmer day
Driving around North Jersey you get sick seeing e46's and X5's . . they're all over the place. But today was pretty good for unusual Bimmers. First I spotted an old school 2002- no bumpers, but fresh red paint, so you knew he was well on his way to a nice restoration. Gave him the thumbs up and he smiled with that 'thanks' look.
I get on the highway and an e60 M5 passes me up. Are those things loud? His pipes were roaring as be took off into the distance like a bullet.
Last but not least, I was in a shopping mall lot and an e31 crosses my path. But the guy was an asshole, I gave him the thumbs up but he just looked at me all hard and shit. Nice. You ruined a perfectly good Bimmer sightseeing day

That sucks, I think there should be a screening process when someone buys a BMW, new or used. I have jerks and I hate people who roll up in a BMW that has sooooo many usless mods that it isn't much different then a honda. I've never personally seen a e31 but there is a nice 2002 that I saw in go past my house once.......wow. Sorry a moron had to take away from a day.

the clown that gave you the snoot treatment is the guy who is probably stressed with all his payments to keep up his ego & appearance, his old lady is screwing the plumber and he's paying 21% on his dozens of credit cards. He'll die of a heart attack, won't have enough insurance to bury his sorry ass and he's never appreciated a good bimmer day - ever. He's the typical "plastic" who will get a DUI and lose what little he had.
Isn't Karma grand?

that made my day.
i think all the E60 M5s are loud. ive seen a couple..all of them sounded like F1 cars.
I cant help but smile when i see a clean E30. Those always make my day.

I saw a e60 M5 at publix the other day. It was probably owned by some Indian dude. It was in front of the Indian restraunt.

Some of us E31 drivers are assholes and Proud of it.
There are also some of us that are social and quite willing to go out of our way to let others drool over our babies

Seems a lot of the bimmer owners in the area where i live are analy retentive, i've been out for a drive around the Yorkshire Dales today and seen plenty 3,5,7series bmw's, a lot of the time due to the narrow roads you have to slow right down to a crawl so you can actually get eye contact with the other driver, not one of them acknowledged or waved back in fact some barely smiled the miserable gits, maybe they were just plain constipated

I saw a new M6 the other day. It was probably owned by a coffee farmer. It was in front of a Starbucks.

Speaking of good car days. . .
I saw a gorgeous 650i Coupe today. AAaaah sookie sookie it was nice.
About 300 yards infront of him on the highway was what appeared to be a Maserati Coupe.
:-)

people around here with any sort of ///M or any BMW that is older well kept are usually pretty enthusiastic about a thumbs up, a wave, or a "nice car" in traffic. its nice when people in this miserable world can all enjoy somethin universally. then there's those assfucks that look the other way or ignore your kind gesture. i will usually do my best to cut them off and then take off to get outa that negative atmosphere. some people just need to take a deep breath and smile

gotta agree with that, just seems sadly that peeps here in the uk are somewhat suspicious if you wave or give them the thumbs up, pity really............

yep, that's the ones... lol- those are the folks that need to be on the shoulder, overheating, with two flats and just after having 2 cups of coffee & a brand muffin & 60 miles from the nearest exit ramp.
Lesson #1: Drivers' etiquette while doing this , say this "Have A Nice Day ASSFUCK" - it'll turn into a good bimmer day. (note: "ricers" love when you acknowledge them this way)
