Talk about BMWs in general. Post official news, Bangle flames, or anything else related to BMW.
i just dropped my friend off at her house and i was heading home and the car in front of me was making a right turn onto the same road i was going to and they slow down at the yield and than accelerate, i see that they're still going so i dont slow down to the yield because NO ONE was on the road. Halfway through the turn they stop and i rearend them, i realize it is my fault but they had no reason to stop because the one car on the road was making a right turn onto the road we were coming off of.
Their car=(mercedez suv) a slightly dinged rear bumper strip
My car (97' 328i)= hood, fender, bumper, head lights, radiator and we wont know till the morning for sure or not if the radiator moved back into the engine- car is most likely totaled

It's a good thing you're okay. When I totaled my first car, it was actually the best thing that ever happened to me. I totaled a 92 Satty (with almost no insurance on it) and acquired a 93 BMW.
So, if it is totaled, look on the bright side... could be an upgrade chance?

Thats the way to look at it. Like today I missed a quiz, but it's given me the motivation to do well on the following ones.

I would say you just might make it into the totalled catagory. I also have a '97 328is and two years ago hit a deer on the interstate at 75 mph. I hit it so square neither fender was damaged and the nose was just high enough that the deer bounced back forward of the car. Everything from the thermosat housing forward was replaced and the total was $6400. Since you need fenders I put the figure at $7000-7500 or a bit more.

yeah. its totallyed... headlights, front fascia, front bumper, right front quarterpanel, hood, radiator, radiator fans, framing around that part of the engine where the hood hooks in, all need replaced. and a new paint job.
