Devin's new Wheels and Snow
Well i got the 17s mounted up this weekend and it decides to friggin snow like crazy this weekend and is currently 23 degrees outside with possibly more snow but definitely icy as shit!
here are some pics i took of the car this morning.
btw if anyone was on I-5 N last night i apologize, i had to stop for traffic, lost momentum and was stuck in ice and slush like several tractor trailers, and many many other trucks and cars. no LSD sucks!
towing bill was $335 and i had a 4 hour commute home.
here are some pics from this morning in shoreline...
We have about 4-5" of snow in our yard and the streets are all iced up. I'm going nowhere, spent all morning trying to clear the driveway enough to get my baby off the street...

that sucks dude, it snowed in yakima pretty hard and even more in spokane. i was going to take my car back to school, but turns out e36 m3 calipers are too big to fit 16''wheels on the car. i have my stock 328is wheels w/ the snowtires now just sitting in the basement now no car till spring.

The wheels are sick. I got stuck at the bottom of the hill on 15th around the University district. My wife got out of the car and pushed. I made it far enough to park on a side road and get her dad to pick us up. I have thought about studded tires, but then I need to buy some 16" steel wheels and studs. I have chains, but they were in my garage last night, plus they are a bitch to put on because of the lack of clearance in the wheel well.

i wouldn't have gotten stuck there if people in front of me had known how to drive... plus the wsdot did no kind of sanding or anything so the entire freeway was ice. it was ridiculous!
where are the pics of the Z??
My car is a daily and my thing is what's the point in having a car when you don't drive it. so yes i will be driving it with those wheels through the winter. its usually not icy or snowy here only for a few days a year...
NICE. Yea that storm blew ass. I was at the oregon border....twas freggin cold.
btw how much for the wheels? Im looking into getting some wheels next summer.

When you are all set simply call INS and they will pick him up free of charge.
Did anyone watch Monday night football last night. That was the first football game I had seen in the snow. We had about 2 inches in Corvallis, OR this morning, snow comes but once every few years here.

ya i've thought about the white on white thing and it may happen later on down the road, but for now i'm happy with them.
They are true SSR GT1 wheels 17.5lbs for a 17x7 wheel. They are et38 so I am running 15mm spacers front and rear in order to clear the strut up front and to match up the rear in terms of width and to fill up the fenders.
