his dad bought him it for his 17th birthday, he works at the bmw dealership with me is diehard like the rest of us, he got it for 12k, pretty good deal

Whoa...He must be a really lucky kid. A 17 year old with a new BMW.
Most E46 owner here(Brunei) are in thier 30s and 40s and work with for the oil and gas company with good pay.

i would be able to take the same quality if not better pictures if i had the same camera he has
$150 fuji finepix is no match for a $1,000 nikon d70
and yes it is a manual
