i lost about an inch and a half. it was enough that i crunched them the first time i pulled off the driveway, not thinking that i should go out on an angle. they are pretty flexible and look like they will take a lot of abuse before breaking. i used 1 inch #12 screws to install them instead of the #10 3/4 inch ones holding the lip on, so i hope that i dont rip my lip or part of my bumper off if i really crunch the spitters sometime.
