sounds fun, my truck is like 95% done, wired in some gauges and other things today.
Those rust spots will be a bit of work, but as long as you can find parts, you can do everything else yourself. That thing must be so easy to work on, as long as you have tools, and all the old bolts don't break.

When I was younger I was in to street rods pretty heavy, and I built a few show winners. If you are new to the hobby I have one word you can use as an overriding principle...PATIENCE !!
Even with money you are looking at 2-3 years of blood, sweat and tears. Your cost projections are about half of what you will actually spend, depending on what you want the finished truck to look and perform like.
Try and build a relationship with one or two experienced builders and pick their brains.
Plan your work ahead. Assemble your parts before you take a rusty bolt off the truck. Some of your bolts will break, and thats a good thing. You will find working with new fasteners makes the job so much easier.
Don't become disgusted and abandon the project because you become frustrated with the process.
Good luck !

wo you have a GT3? my bad about off-topic!
yeah im trying to be patient with my truck i want to just get the check engine light off, and get it registered, but it still needs some bodywork.
that's good that you have a large assortment of tools, I ended up having to buy a few things.

will look hot with just something like a 2" body lift, 3" lift, and some 33's, not sure if you could fit 35"s with that setup.
