Black Chrome Emblems

Well, I have been working for a while on trying to find a way to "blacken out" chrome without damaging it's "shinny" abilities and I have done. It took me many tries and diff products, but I finally was able to do it

Here is the result:

lol, nah, that wouldn't do, notice how you can still see some of the chrome... regular paint would just cover the all thing, I sprayed it with some spray tint that I bought on ebay. Right now the clear coat is drying... once it dries it will go on my car

lol, thx, I tried to keep it somewhat in level with both the top of the trunk and that little edge on middle of trunk, but I mean it's the same way as the older one was (notice the masking tape)

It looks different which is a good thing. I have never saw emblems like that before. Are you gonna tint your tails?

I doubt I'll be tinting my tails.... the idea has corssed my mind, but I don't think I will

Reason for that is, I mean, I was thinking of smoking out that clear part just a bit, but with the tint on the windows, I already see very little at night when backing up, and even thought I put some super bright reverse bulbs, I would see even less now...

By the way, I am sure some of ya will be like:
"why don't you take that Auto Track sticker off"

Well, I wouldn't bcs that's my dad's dealership Got to represnet
