Black Chrome Emblems
 

Well, I have been working for a while on trying to find a way to "blacken out" chrome without damaging it's "shinny" abilities and I have done. It took me many tries and diff products, but I finally was able to do it :D

what did you use just glossy black spray paint?

lol, nah, that wouldn't do, notice how you can still see some of the chrome... regular paint would just cover the all thing, I sprayed it with some spray tint that I bought on ebay. Right now the clear coat is drying... once it dries it will go on my car

lol, thx, I tried to keep it somewhat in level with both the top of the trunk and that little edge on middle of trunk, but I mean it's the same way as the older one was (notice the masking tape)

It looks different which is a good thing. I have never saw emblems like that before. Are you gonna tint your tails?

i think you should have gone red.
