Tinted my corners

I bought some spray tint from Ebay (1 bottle of spray tint & 1 bottle of dark shades) I smoked my corners with the "dark shades" and I put a coat of clear on top to make it nice and smooth (also to protect them)

I tried to match them as closely to the headlights as possible, They were matching (until it dried) I thought that once it would dry it would get lighter bcs when u get your windows tinted once the water dries it get a bit lighter, but this one got a bit daker, lol close enougth thought...

Same with the e46...it makes them stick out IMO. I have them but wish mine were darker to create a nice blend with the headlights. I may have to smoke tint mine.

That looks awesome. Was it hard to do, or just spraying it on and waiting?

Edit: And on a side note, why are you still using photo bucket? haha, we have the exact same thing built in to United Bimmer, without all the ads and everything.

It was really easy, I first cleaned them with some cloth that I sprayed some alcohol on, then I sprayed it on (no preparing invloved), it dried in less than 5 mins, then put the clear, dried in like 10 mins and that's it.

ANd I have been using Imageshack for a while, I guess, just a habit...

OK, since a lot of poeple have asked me what I used to smoke my corners here it is:

VHT Spray Tint

VHT Night Shades

Quote:
In a nutshell;
For taillights, turn signals, etc – use the Nite Shades.
For headlights, taillights, turn signals, windows, etc – use the Spray Tint.
I used Night Shades on my corners.
