Out here in Syracuse we have the same thing. This morning, my brother spent half hour cleaning the snow and layer of ice off the car and then he finds out that there is a thick layer of ice on the inside of the windsheild. Stupid weathermen. They told us 2-5" overnight. We have more than a foot of snow.
You might consider adding some weight to trunk too. If you go with sand or salt wrap it in garbage bags (couple times) then you have something if you get in tough situations. Those "free" white postal bins available at the post office makes good dividers (also good file seperators at home.)
Ok so you thought that was bad look at this. It happened about an hour after I took the pics. Luckly there was no damage to my car. The thick layer of ice protected it. It took out my interent and I just got it back.
