i would love to get one of those. but i have a few problems, 1. from what iv read, they are hard/expensive to maintain. 2. where i drive. i have to drive on dirt/sand/gravel. and it being that low, it would get torn up. 3. if something would happen to it or something, the mechanics here would have no idea what to do with it. and 4. the size. since its 48 inches tall, i think i would have troubles fitting in it. other then that, i would love to have one. (sorry about hijack)

They arent hard to maintain. They can be expensive if you get too smart and think it oesnt require regular maintainence. And when you do maintain it just put on very good products. Cheap products are the death of the car.

Why are you drivign on dirt and sand and gravel? Poor BMW. Shame on you. If you have to, you park on the side of a road, put on a car cover, and wlak 3 miles, everyday.

You dont take it to a dumbass mechanic. Basically problems any mechanic could fix. Engine problems, you jsut need a rotary specialist shop.

Youve apparently never sat in one. They are ridiculously low, yes. But if you sit in it you are like riding on the ground. When you get out of the car you literally can put your hand ont he floor in order to support yourself as you get out. Now take that adn drop it about 1.5 inches on coilovers and youll know why I laugh everytime I get out of my buddies FD.
It's a awesome car. Ride in one. Youll loose control over your bowel and the awesome turbo spool and exhaust turbo pressure will probably cause insanity. Its thats awesome.

no, iv never sat in one. i havnt even seen one in real life . and i have to drive on dirt and stuff becuase i love on a farm in the middle of no where.... and i would have to walk about 7 miles, and that wouldnt be fun. lol. but i was thinking of storing it in my dads boss's shed, i wouldnt have to drive on to much dirt... only about 100 feet. and there isnt any rotor spec. near here.. but im sure i could find one somewhere. im thinking of calling a car dealer i know... they go to car auctions and buy cars, they could find a good one for me.
