It's a '91 325i, bone stock. Thought I'd throw it out there. I love that color on an E30, I think he mentioned that it's not a common color. Yea, I know he needs rims, but he's dealing with a couple of other problems with it right now. Like the infamous E30 oil pan gasket leak
Not just the crossmember, the oil pump pick-up & screen hang down in the pan. Just ask the BMW owners in Florida who drive over the "raised" gas station fill covers - we use to see an average of 1-2 a week where the cast aluminum pan was ripped open. We had 1 lady hit a cinder block & drove 23 miles before motor seized - and she wanted warranty to cover it...
That's it- crossmember! Thanks c1apton, I couldn't think of the word. I've heard of people using JB Weld to seal the gasket leak . . . don't know how well that works or what the consequences are, but my nephew isn't going there. He changed to thicker oil, which helps slow down the leak for now

Nice looking e30, when he has some money and has delt with his problems I suggest he do Struts/Shocks and Springs all around, then maybe the rims, then It will look a lot sexier.
yeah, she needs some work. i originally wanted get a new pan and gasket, but i think for now she is going to be getting a patch i hear tons of other E30 owners do it too, so i guess ill give it a shot.
i do want to get some rims for her, and also stiffen up the suspension a bit. i wanted to do some other stuff engine wise, but i think ill prolly just get her some new rims after the repairs. then hopefully she may be joined by an E46 330Ci ZHP. . .one day. . .

JBWeld is your friend when talking about your oil pan.
