Painted Calipers and City Lights
so i decided to paint my calipers red today and got some red city lights in my ellipsoids. here are some pics i'm pretty happy with the calipers, i think i might just try to change the city lights over to halos sometime soon though.

ya i thought the city lights would look better but i don't think i like them. i know its illegal to have red and blue but they are very low light i think 8 watts or somethin. but ya i just used engine spray paint. as long as you get the high heat stuff with the ceramic it works fine.
the calipers look really good man, very smooth and CLEAN. professional quality work right thuurrrr.
As for the city lights, I am not feelin em, never was a fan of city lights. Halo's would definately look much better.
im against both...city light and angel eyes < taking a dump
IMO of course...the calipers look good...i like the calipers red only on red cars...black on black cars and black on everything else..anyway...clean...
BTW, looks like you have been workin that ABS lately or the rotors are warped judging by the dashing on the rotors

The reason I say run those wires is this:
- you could always just put a piece of tape over the pin on the parking light bulb for a simple 'parking light delete' but u'll get the 'parking light' message on the dash every time u turn the lights on. so ... when u run them over there instead, it still draws current through those wires and the computer doesnt know.

ya maybe i'll take the bulbs out tonight and see if i like the look first
i kinda like my parking light and fogs look, thinking about ditchin the city lights altogether
how hard is it to paint them? all you have to do is take the wheel off, do you need to take the caliper off too?
Duplicolor makes a "kit" u can buy to paint em. All u have to do is take the rim off, but they do recomend removing the brake pads. Removal of the calipers isnt nessecary. And it should only take like 30-40 mins to paint the calipers than like 2-3 hours to dry as i remember.
