soooo the last month or so has been spent working on the engine and well i will let the pics to the talking for me you gotta see in person...you could eat off it and it runs FLAWLESSLY have been tuning replacing and adjusting just about everything...Got a new more agressive cam and a new TechTonics Cam gear, and the Audi 5000 Throttle body(much bigger)...i must say it feels like a monster...should be around 130whp now which is a nice jump from the stock 90whp, none the less its a 1900ish lb car but the true fruits of my labor has been the amount of cleaning and perfecting of the factory parts
i cant tell you how many kids come into the shop wanting headers and exhaust and intake and dont understand why it doesnt add much HP...you gotta make the car run perfect before you mod it Here you guys go..much love from the Double Dubber (BMW, VW)
Holy shit man, thats amazing. Im not a fan of VW's at all but that actualey looks good. Why cant u live in Canada dammit? then u could do work on my car for me.

Good work. I can appreciate your modding because you're doing it the right way even though it is a VW Also looks really clean. How do you know you're at 130fwhp? Dyno? I'm scheduled to Dyno in 2 weeks after my HFM, Injectors and fuel pressure regulator here along with my updated burnt software. I hope to be around 210rwhp. Again great work and thank you for not going straight to F/I :P Can't stand it when people go straight to F/I on an older car without building a good foundation for it.
haha thanks JR, with my cam and head setup people have been seeing upwards of 120whp and with the Jetta 2.0 block(also changes compression from 8.5:1 to 9.5:1) they are seeing upwards of 135 hp and the last time i dyno'd at the shop i work at (before cam) i was at 112.6 WHP(but i still had some tuning issues but that was still high for how it was running) and so that puts me around 128-130 whp but im already thinking of going back to the Euro stock cam and slapping the Corrado G60 G Lader Stage 4 rebuilt supercharger i have back on, but its raising my oil pressure way too much with the charger right now so i may need to enlarge the oil journeys through the block and head....then i should be seeing around 170hp but the only reason i need boost is to make the same power when at high elevations for the snow(winter), and dirt(spring fall and summer) rally's as it is feeling the thinner less efficient air at high elevations
good stuff oh and im a semi vegetarian..sorry no red meat....keep it lean boneless skinless chicken breast marinated for a couple days in a good marinade
