i wish my engine bay was that clean.

You have three choices, stand behind our troops, grab a gun and toe the line with our troops, or stand in front of them, they can use the extra armor.
Yes, they are M5 turbines. I have only listed the mods done to the car, hence the short list. We bought it new. As there were no M5's built for anywhere bar Europe in 95, this was it's replacement. I'm pretty sure they were M540 in the US, 200 built, 135 manual's and 65 autos (why?!!).
It is one of 70 RHD built. It has full M5 suspension, EDC, ASC+T, Cruise control, sports seat (all the normal sh*t). Effectively, they took an E34 M5 and threw the V8 and six speed manual into it. Debadged and a great sleeper.
I am going to slap some Europlates on it shortly, K&N and maybe free up the exhaust a little too. Heaven
Thanks guys. I must say that I was inside vacuuming while Andrew cleaned the engine bay. I can say that it was full of dust before, as we had just done a Grasskhana in it and the park was dry and dusty. I can't believe how well it came up.
Not looking too bad for 178,000km and 10 years old. Just got to get rid of the stone chips on the front and bonnet, get the marks taken out of the wheels and it'll look new again.
It is driven, I don't hide it away and only bring it out for special occasions. Any excuse for me to take it out for a thrash!
pure heaven...i need a E34 540 6speed bad i cant wait it looks like it going to be loads of fun...i have test driven a few and i must say i was amazed...i thought it would perform like a huge beast but i was impressed...the only things i could think to change from stock would be rear diff, shocks/springs/sways intake, exhaust, chip, throwing stars with some sticky tires and i would be in pure heaven with minor mods....that would be a nice change haha
The dyno run was done in 4th gear (205kph @ rev limit), so the gear ratio is not 1:1. The actual torque worked out to 440Nm (330lbft). I am having another dyno run next week-end (hopefully in 5th) to see what has happened over the last 2 years. Then I am cutting out the cats, maybe putting in a high flow set of resonators where the middle box is and fitting a K&N panel. I will be making one change and then dyno, to see what increases I get. I'd love to get some Dinan bits, but I would be concerned about any gains, given that you guys run such low octane fuel and I'm running on 98 Pump gas.
