here is an updated picture collection with the dash now completed and the leather armrest dyed as well. I wasn't expecting much on the armrest and I must say, I'm quite pleased. It's not flaking yet and it's soft and touchable. How long this will last? I have no idea, but I had no choice other then having it re-upholstered or getting some leatherique dye which would have been a waste on this thing as it's all cracking and what not. So until it starts flaking or having a bad reaction with the dye, I won't worry about it. I used a leather prep agent before spraying on the dye too. So now all I have left to do is rear speaker covers, visors, oh shit handles, center console section and drivers side knee panel. After those are done, I'm going to look into getting my seats redone as well to match the rest of the car. I will also be redoing the B panels I think they're called because the black is a little lighter then the rest. I would have had this all done today, but I ran out of dye and the place I bought this stuff from isn't open Anyways, here are the pics and here is a link to the DIY video. It's like 50mb, sorry. PM me with any questions you might have... http://www.nwbmwclub.com/videos/dyingdiy.wmv
Umnitza now provides a mechanic to install all parts ordered right in the box! It's their new "Total customer service program" that will eliminate all the haters and keep incompetents from breaking **** and blaming the vendor! When you are all set simply call INS and they will pick him up free of charge.
