Electronic Damper Control. I think you guys had it sold as the Nurburgring Suspension package. It is M5 springs, sway bars and wheels with 2 valves per shock to vary the damping. Brilliant system. Also has Auto-levelling suspension, Cruise control, ASC+T and all the other 540 stuff.

See attached bulletin on EDC.

Very nice looking car.

6-Speed right hand drive.... sexy.
And of course the brembos are awesome. Done any other modding to it?

No, just the Race compound pads. Much less dust than the OEM pads. I will look at changing the air filter to a K&N. But, as it is a rare one. I have stuck with only brand new BMW parts since new. It is about to be road tested in one of our car magazines in the next months. www.autocar.co.nz

I would like to chip it and free up the exhaust, but it's not a high priority. It's a pretty quick car standard and a dream to drive. 14.78 on the drag strip with a full boot load of stuff. I'll put better tires on soon and give it another go in summer.

You are correct Spieluhr. I have been at the Paint & Panel shop today getting a quote for a re-spray done.

I also want to get the wheels stripped back and reworked also.

10 years of stone chips collected. As it's mainly been driven at open road speeds in NZ (100kph) the stones hit pretty hard. Also track days don't help. Original paint and it's never been bent, so I can't complain, I guess.
