the white one is a 1990 with an automatic transmission.

the red one is a rare 1992 with a manual gear box. After paying bmw to research its shipping date and date of birth, I have found it to be one of arround 600, the only one of its color, and the last one shipped into America before the new series was launched. Incase you havent noticed by my boastfull ramblings, shes my baby.

almost forgot. Those happn to be the only e30 convertibles in my state. Unfortunately on the 4th of July, my white car took a nasty fall. It resides at Bavarian Autohaus where I use it for parts. sad story... It was my first car, which means I had alot of memories. I made it to 3rd base for the 1st time in the back seat of that car! lol. It even got voted coolest senior car. Not bad cinsidering I went to a rich kid school. anyway, hope you like them. the last one is on the "rate my car" area, so if you like it, vote me into the top 100! thanks.

one other thing... Since I am a newb, how do you post pictures without shrinking them really small or posting thumbs? and how does one get a smiley made so you can hae a bigger picture on your signature? ok newbie out!

well, long story condensed: 4th of July, fireworks, drunk driver, head on followed by 4 consecutive rolls, car saved everyones life, no broken bones, I got thrown up in a tree tho. (lmao) Rolled it back over, started it up and drove it home. Insurance called it totalled, payed for another one! thats pretty much it.

considering what I have first hand witnessed as far as safety, agility, and robustness, im never getting anything else! ill always have my e30. eventually be my weekend warrior. it already is the garage queen. my other cars sit outside. lol.

I havent taken any pictures of it after the wreck. now there isnt much left of it. just the chasis. Honestly, I treat it like a deceased family member. I prefer to remember it how it was rather than what it is now, you know?

oh... sorry bout that
my bro crashed his first 325e coupe on the Autobahn after he's been pushed out of his lane by an S Class going well too fast
he skidded and slided all over the place and then the railing guard tore up the end
so he and my dad bought a perfect e30 324d sedan from the scrap yard with a blown engine, then spent a couple weeks in the drive to swap the engines, wiring, tranny and diff.
Now he has his eta in the sedan chassis
only problem: For a year or more the car's been sitting because of various electrical problems. And he doesn't have time for her. Still, noone is allowed to even touch Charlotte (her name) and she's blocking up the garage

haha, yeah. I feel that! Although I dont remember it, after the wreck, I was a little dazed and confused, and it was written in the police report that i threatened death to anyone who touched my car. I named her Casey, after a girlfriend of mine who loved that car almost as much as I did. I hept her alive for almost a month before driving her for the last time to Bavarian Autohaus. Verry sad. But ruby is here now, and she is a beauty!

It's a good song. They play it quite a bit on Lucy, which is channel 54 on XM. You have a nice car too. I think I want my second car to be an e30 vert.

It is a good song. I had xm radio, but after awhile, I grew tired of paying the monthly fee. Its back to the good ole' mp3 player for me! lol

Yeah, We were all pretty lucky in that accident. We somehow landed in between a massive tree and a telephone poll. Bad news is we took out the power for 12 blocks in every direction for 12 hours, and a mail box from hell in the front yard of a 92 year old lady's house. We freaked her out pretty bad.

Wish I had taken some pictures. If yall could have seen the carnage, you would understand. That and its a little shocking that not only did we all walk away, but my car drove away too!
