E30 Love

Well I took some pictures a while ago and thought I would share a few with you guys. This was just before I put the 318 away for the winter. I will also let you in on my plans for it: Fix my control arm issue by replacing them and also adding M3 offset bushings, Sway Bar upgrade to a 22/19 set (spec e30 size), and install a 4.10 LSD to replace the open diff. I plan to have my work done in March and have it ready for an April 12th track day where I will take some video for you guys. Now without further ado, the pictures (I have done no touching up or enhancing yet):

witeshark 01-14-2008 05:14 PM

With the upgrades you list, it'll be pretty much a new car. Great shots :shades

With what I've got to start with, it seems my list will be a long one as well

Numark318i 01-14-2008 07:45 PM

love it man.

tell me how those sways are. After europe im fixing up my e30.

O so sexy as always :) your car is awesome. SPOTLESS e30 man...i want an e30 :(

nick_318is 01-14-2008 09:10 PM

Thanks Guys, I just want it to be warm here and put the Mazda on vacation and just drive the e30 until it becomes unbearably hot. Oh yeah I just replaced the Sealed beams with some H1/H4 Units from checking them out in the garage it looks like a good upgrade.

witeshark 01-14-2008 09:19 PM

^^^ Oh that\'s a great upgrade!

celsdogg 01-14-2008 10:21 PM

so smooth. your my inspiration.

no, really.

what happened to the center cap on your front drivers side wheel tho?

nick_318is 01-15-2008 06:54 AM

Agressive driving I suppose, sometimes they get warm and pop out. I think I have an extra around from the last time when I replaced 3 of 4. The thing I really like about the car is that the exterior is basically stock, just lowered and clean.

:yum:yum:yum:yum:yum what else can you say??:dunno

Looking beautiful man.

denyo77 01-15-2008 02:27 PM

that\'s what I call tasteful modding
nothing boasty on the exterior
and the rims fit perfectly!

f16dude 01-16-2008 01:22 AM

All for the love of the e30! great car man!

sorry bout the random link on my comment... Chalk it up to my newbie-ness.

No one said they didn\'t like e30s :doh

Oh and I don\'t like it, its too over the top and too heavy in the front. When I get done with my e30 i hope to be producing similar HP numbers if not a little higher all without fucking up the light weight of the car.
