Some of the coolest photos ever taken of the 318is
My mom, my dad and I went out a couple weeks ago to experiment with motion photography, long exposures and the like for the upcoming photoshoot of all four of our BMW's. I was the guinea pig, but I liked it. What do you guys think? We need constructive criticism to make the next ones even better.

i like the pics. Try some different angles.
for the motion shots try to use a flash to capture the movement better.
if you have an slr try to play with the aperture. It can help with compensating for too much light and make the depth of focus more interesting.
higher aperture=higher depth of focus(eveerythign in focus) ansel adams type photography.
lower aperture is opposite.

Sorry I forgot to tell you guys... it's one of my mom's new Nikon S3 SLR's or something like that. Anyway, she's a professional photographer who's never taken car photos before.
We know what aperture is and how it works, no need for that.
Oh, we took everything in RAW format too, so if you guys want a 1 GB file of anything you see here, let me know.

i notice with cars its better if you get the light thats hitting the car to be even. Go to the same spot in the morning?
also try to get pictures from a higher angle. try a ladder for interesting angles?

yeah, I'm from Germany...
and I just love this sign, as typical for BMW drivers as flashing the hi-beams or driving as left as possible on the autobahn flashing your left turn signals...
