And this is what my cousin did

Well, I have this one cousin that just "hits" stuff :wall

And this is her latest achievement :throwrock

Here's the story, we had a family get together at my aunt's house, and we all had fun, and time comes for us to leave. Now, just so you all know, I know my had a history of hitting stuff, and she was parked in front of my car. Since I knew that I had left, on purpose, a good car's length between her car and mine. But when we left, she left first, and I guess she just didn't see my car....:thud And here is the result :bawling

I know for a fact I'll need a new hood and my front bumper is now off key. One of my kidney beans is now pushed in. But good news is she has no choice but to pay for everything.... Still sucks, but oh well, good thing is nobody got hurt.

Yeah, she popped it pretty high. Sucks man.

Dudesky 06-18-2007 05:15 AM

What the effin' hell! Either she needs a remedial driving course or she needs new glasses. What was she driving, an SUV?

celsdogg 06-18-2007 07:26 AM

omigod, id be freakin hot. . . :angry

Y'know, it was probably a big mistake allowing her to vote, too... Man, REALLY sorry for that, at the next family event park your car a few miles away and take a cab the rest of the way, this woman is a danger to the public welfare.

witeshark 06-18-2007 08:11 AM

I know I'd be :mad Looking forward to seeing it fixed

Yeah, I have an appt with an old friend this afternoon to estimate the damages (he's by FAR the best body shop in town).

She drives a silver honda SUV, the little ones. And trust me, as much as I baby my car, I was FURIOUS, but I kept my cool, bcs I knew she'd have to pay for it and luckily NOBODY got hurt, bcs let's say I would have been behind her, she probably would not have seen me either :doh

I believe that is when family members should step in and prevent something really bad before it happens. Like her running over a child.

Pics of the cousin or ban :naughty

Man that sucks rooz. I feel your pain!

Rooz 06-18-2007 02:55 PM

Well... so far am getting quotes that vary from 2k to 3k+ And they are all saying a good week's worth of work, am going to have them blend the fenders since am getting a new hood. To my surprise, the factory hood is only ~ $400

Am hoping this bill will teach her a lesson, she never did "this much" damage to any other cars, so this might be a good lesson for her

yeah, I just kinda feel stupid driving the car around like this for now, I had to take one of the kidney's off bcs it was just too loose :(

mullethunter3 06-18-2007 04:06 PM

^^^ I know the feeling. Driving around with one kidney makes me feel like I\'m the special kid on the road, like I forgot to put on pants and everyone\'s laughing at me.
