just 3 of us happened to be at my buddy's house so i snapped a couple pics, nothin special. 95 M3, my 97 328i, and a 2001 528i

came back for another look, that 5 looks out of place imo ,it just don't look as nice as a three series.

very true, we have a handful more people that coulda been in on the pic (other M3's and stuff) but that 5 will look sweet once the M technic mirrors and bumper go on it and he takes out those cheapo lookin turn signal bulbs i keep raggin on him for! haha

Wait, how did the 1995 M3 get the front grills of the 1997-1999 E36's????

I've been trying to replace mine with those grills but so far the only way is to drill out the welded-on nose panel and weld on another one, and have it painted, of course. Did he do it a different way?

You used to have to switch the front grill support (just over $100) and paint and install it, now you can get 97-99 style grills for 92-95 E36s on e-bay than just replace em. They look very similar to the 97-99 with out switching the grill support.

yes he did switch the grills and i think the ebay bit is exactly what he did, its a nice subtle touch i think.
