I like how the flares complement the rims. I would also go with Jet Black

question: does anyone like the bangle-butt? cuz they're showing up on all the new models (new 6-series is a great example) and i really don't like them.

I've made peace with the Bangle cars, but I think the 5 series is the absolute worst. Way too bulbous, and way too much empty blank exterior paneling. From the side of a 5'er, it just looks like a big wall, devoid of any lines or detail. IMO, it's like a rolling tank- the body is screaming to be either squashed shorter in height or stretched longer in length. At least with these p'shop renderings, the fender flares help break up the monotony. But I still would never get one, even if I could afford it.

Actually, it's probably intentional. Sometimes artists and designers will draw slight variations to show how something would look like with different options.

i used to feel like that too, but i think they have grown on me. i like the E60 and E65 now. The E90 may never grown on me tho, altho i immediately loved the E92.
