In conjunction with todays hot topic of the day, I figured I'd open a thread on abortion, before it takes over the other thread.

So what do you think? Pro Abortion? Against it?

Please keep it civilized, and intelligent. Debate the issue, don't fight with your fellow members who's views differ.

I am for it but I also think that you should use a condom everytime you bang a girl and she's not your wife, but if you do get her pregnant she should get one if she wants.

abortion is wrong dude, unless you also think that murder is right

I figure that in a lot of casses, it's better to get the abortion than the bring an unwanted child into the world, where it may not have a good life, and if it's done before 5 or so weeks, it's not considered murder because there is no heartbeat., I'm not all for it, it's still a sad thing that happens everyday, but i'm just saying, a lot of times, I can understand why people do it.

Its not considered murder because you can only get one up to 4 months and it can't breath so its not considiered a human being yet.

I don't agree with post 1st trimester abortions unless there is significant danger to the mother. Other than that, I would rather a woman had an abortion rather than a baby she did not have the means to care for.

...But what does my opinion matter, this should be between a woman and her doctor.

So just playing devils advocate here....

should the same rules apply to the woman who willingly has unprotected sex and gets pregnant that apply to the woman who gets pregnant after being forcibly raped?

Will there be any way to tell them apart if separate rules were created?

I'm just saying that a blanket set of rules don't work, because every situation is different.

Well it wouldn't be above some people to claim they were raped in order to achieve their ends...

the fetus has a heart beat by the first trimester and working pain receptors. so you cant say its not a human being just because its not out of its mothers womb breathing air lol
abortion should be allowed in special cases such as health complications for the mother or rape. but making abortion On demand is wrong.
