I'm not big into politics but whet 911 when down he did something I don't think many people in his position whould have done. My brother worked at the Pentagon at the time and the plane hit very close to his office(might even have damaged it, not really sure any more). Luckly my bro had just been sent across the street to take something to another guy. After the crash my brother was down there helping pull out bodies and Bush was right beside everyone else searching for survivors and bodies. My brother called that night and was talking to my mom and said how bad it was pulling your friends from something like that. The fact that Bush was down there doing that when he could have been countless other places doing things really made me respect him. Like I said not into politics so I want make any comments that show my lack of knowledge, but for me personally he is alright.

On that same note before the flaming begins here, there isn't many folks in office currently I'd trust - they're all crooked posers in DC on both sides of the isle (Dems & Reps) If someone wants to impress me take care of our national affairs before dictating to other countries of how to behave. And have the facts straight before getting involved in international affairs.

i understand where you/your brother are(is) coming from, but i thought bush wasnt even in DC when it happened?

Bush? well the name says it all. We went from a nice stock of cash in the tresury to being knee deep in debt to countries like france and sweden. clinton kept the dollar high, as soon as bush came in everything went to hell. we cant really blame him about the war in afghanistan but iraq is a different matter. invading afghansitan after 911 was like FDR invading Japan after pearl harbor.
I think the guy turned loony with the invasion of Iraq, I just hope he dosnt propell us into WW3 before his term ends lol

Sorry, but I don't think that story is real. When the attacks happened, Bush was giving a speech at a school in Tampa, FL. So I don't see how he could have been at the Pentagon helping pull people out.

Like others mentioned, Bush wasn't even there, they were flying his ass all over in air "farce" one to keep his location unknown. I think you got your info crossed with Guilianni who was in with the NYPD & NYFD but he wasn't exactly pulling bodies out either.
