Nate,

I will buy an M5 in 2007. For now, I have been converting my 540 into an M5. But the only thing is that the 540i engine will never be an M5 uless I supercharge and do cams and headers which would convert into 10K or more plus big breaks. So, I will continue to do minor upgrades to my 540i. I just picked up some M5 front brakes. In 1.5-2 years, the M5s that are already modded will be in the 30K range and then I will buy one. My goal is to finish paying my car off by 07 and then keep both. I will use the 540 for my daily driver.

Any luck finding an e30? Where are you going to school?
