Hum, I've never dealt with that personally, but I can't imagine something like that that "can't be fixed." There's always a way. Hopefully someone else on here will have some good ideas, haha.
Do you by chance have any pictures of the problem? Or actually, I'd be curious to see pictures of your car in general, maybe post a thread up in the Car Showroom.
