Did you ever get an alignment? It could have been a bad alignment. It could be toe or camber, actually. Toe eats up tires pretty fast, too. Try to get the car on a rack and see how much and camber you can adjust to. If you can't get it with the stock RLCA, then invest money into the nice ones.
The UUC ones are nice but they are more for racing. They are designed NOT to fold on impact. This makes racing more safer, but it will force damage upon the subframe and other parts. I'd go with the Ground Control. I love UUC products, but I think GC has them beat on the RLCA. And they're cheaper I believe.
