oh i learned soo much on my car..
ya starters on most cars are wayy easy... 30 minute deal...

e36...ugh...
it took me 11 hours..but i finished... "mom i am going to work on my car..i am not going to school tomorrow" ..haha suckers

man...the starter was a pain in the ass
honestly... the placement is terrible but i guess it HAD to go there...

after taking off the upper intake manifold, airbox, hoses, sensors, electronic wiring (oh yeah..you need to disconnect the battery 1st ; ) ), then dropping the back of the tranny a few inches... i had to get a female torx wrench with a long ass extension to get the 2 mounting bolts for the starter off and on...

if you have fat hands...this will not happen with you.... dont even try

when i put everything back together..i started the car and the starter motor kept running... (NOT GOOD..it will burn out after a little while)... i connected one of the starter wires to the wrong spot.... had to fix that... then DONE!

on the drive home i noticed a smell that was....kinda like burning crayons... just a hint of that at times... what could that be?
