I buy most of my sftuff from Express for Men, Banana Republic, and Old Navy. I stick to stuff that doesn't show the brand. I wear button-up long-sleeved shirts a lot, and those are easy to find with no branding. Target has good t-shirts that do have serigraphy, but it is not the brand, but rather cool stuff, such as my "Duff" beer tee. Levi's jeans are the best. I, however, always get my jeans from Express, when they go on sale -- I have not payed more than $27 for a pair of jeans in years. I don't particularly lie the Gap, but they do offer plenty of plain, no-label-showing articles of clothing. Just shop around, man. Don't stick to one manufacturer. My wardrobe is very mixed. Lastly, I also recommend that you try TJ Maxx. They stock a lot of different brands and styles, for a fraction of the retail cost.
Get high-quality stuff that has been discounted. Don't settle for inferior stuff just because it is cheaper at retail price.
