No. Your car is beautiful as is. My E46 is so damn low with the Dinan Stage 1 that in the front, the clearence is just about as thick as my hand. I scrape ALL the time. I'm surrounded by speed bumps and all of them are different hights. With traffic on the road, I have to come to a full stop, slowly reach the apex of the bump, then apply the brake to come easily down on the other side. With no traffic, I have to do a diagonal crossing.
You could go lower, but, it may effect ur habitual driving. However, should you chose to go lower, I would recommend spending the extra amount to get adjustable suspension components. I know that Koni has them. They have a dial on the top of the shocks/struts that allows you to adjust the height, just incase you come to another blockaide or a flooded area.
Just a PS, like everyone has said before, Rims would add that little bit of flavor. If you do get new ones, don't go crazy. I have the stock 16's on mine with 225/50 Perelli's (look at sig), and those fill quite nicely.
