This is a forum I started YEARS ago for a game we were talking about making called Harvest Moon Online.
I haven't posted in the forum is literally a year and a half, but today I checked again today and there is STILL active members posting everyday (no administration or moderation). The community was so strong it didn't die out after years of isolation. haha, that's kinda cool.
Look on there at the forum called "Intelligent Discussion". You might have to look back a good ways for some good threads, but there are debates there on issues like abortion, time travel, etc. The forum rules are no stupidity is tolerated, and if you post in there it has to be respectful and intelligent.
What do you guys think about a forum (or subforum) here like that to try it out? If you read over the threads we've had on the HMO forum, some great issues have come up with pages of intelligent discussion on them.
Anyone interested in trying out something like this? Think it would work here?
