i doubt they will shatter unless you hit somthing :P, however if you catch a rock in one it will probably "mushroom"...i have stoneguard too, i would suggest it
it is a dense piece of plastic 1/8 or 1/16 of an inch maybe...that has adhesive and stickes to the glass headlight. u can get it from umnitza or bavauto
