Hoppy I agree, the only real benefit gov't has going for it Re: oil pricing is the tax on it. That's not just federal but state also, as long as they get theirs they're not going to tell business how to run themselves. The "cartels" if anything are the scam. Same applies to diamonds - all the competitors get together and set the market prices - anyone who tries to undercut prices eventually gets starved out.
