You're just taunting me to get one aren't you? I've had my eye on one for years and the guys' not ready to sell. Guy is in Dallas with 1993 CI and get this, it's RED! Not calypso red but factory "arrest me red". It was a factory demo given to this rep. who has it today and it's got 8,600 miles on it. I'll see if I still have pics from the day he got it. It was a retirement gift from BMW NA Atlanta.

Well, you could always get one for Practice
The color is Brilliantrot - Brilliant red.
We have two owners up here in the PNW with two each in Brilliantrot. At one point the Canadian owner had all 4 at his place at once for a couple of weeks. The neighbors started wondering about his Obsession

Terry, did you catch the previous issue (Dec '05)? It has an article on how to tune the 850i to perform like a Csi.

Making my 840 CSi like
Other than the 5 speed auto trans which performs admirably stick like running thru the gears i'm close.
All of the suspension mods have been done over the last 2 years and the chips for engine and transmission perform pretty much as advertised.

thanx for this---I have a 6 spd '93---I figured it was less popular, but I did not realize the small number. Mine is silver with about 28k miles on it----so I will make sure the kids stay away from it.
