I like them because the are fun to drive. I just spent the weekend in mine at PNW 8 Fest (another thread)

8 Series prices don't reflect their rarity, with the exception of the 850Csi. Even the book prices on CSi's are about $20K below actual market.

If it is factory "Baby Blue" (I believe Estoril?) I would like to know where it is.

No, I thought it over and I'm not really ready. And I'm considering these gas prices these days. Are you going to check it out? If so, keep us posted!

I asked if anyone was in the neighborhood to look at it but no answer yet.

Im actually surprised that they are that inexpensive. I thought for sure they would still be in the 20-25k range.

I have seen some '91 850's in the $10K range. The really low priced one usually have problems though.

If you have a good set of tools and know how to use them some may be bargains.

If you have to go to the $tealer for everything you must be prepared to mortgage something if it has serious problems. BMW still thinks of them as $100,000 cars.

Some day I'll trip over a poor abused 850 somewhere and won't be able to resist the challenge.

Her is one for you.

Only one this individual color in the US. Conforti developed his CSi chips on this one. Uber Enthusiast owned and maintained.

Wow . . . a wee bit out of my price range

If it was in my budget, it would be a tough choice between something like that or the new 645ci. Thoughts?

Why would a 95 850 be so expensive? I am assuming it must be because it is rare. For 72K, I would save more pennies and buy an M5. Plus that blue is a terrible color IMHO.

One of two or three in the world in that color as a BMW Individual.

One of probably not much more than a dozen full Euro-Spec 850 CSi's in the US.

With the tuning done here as the Conforti test bed it should be the equal or better of the E39 M5 performance wise.

The current owner is a perfectionist where this car was concerned. If there is a perfect 8 Series car, this should be it

But the color wouldn't be my first choice either

Basically it is a collectors car (only 2-3 with that color), but still, not my choice. Although I have never driven one and I might change my mind. I have delusions of owning an E39 M5 heavily modified before I am too old . I would save my pennies for the new M5 and I would be curious to see how the 850 would compare to the M5.
